Silly Boy

Christopher came into the room yesterday and this is what he had on to be ready to go. He has decided he really LIKES hats. All hats! I couldn't help but laugh and then take a few pictures. There just are no words!

T-Ball Opening Day

Today was opening day of the T-Ball season. Caitlin decided NOT to play this season. Christopher is excited about it though. Jim is coaching again. And he is very out of sorts that his team is the Yankees. Christopher has no idea why daddy does not like the team name..he just LOVES it! Jim however is less than thrilled to have to wear a Yankees hat. We had opening ceremonies this morning and out first game this afternoon. Tomorrow are team pictures. And thus out lives get CRAZY busy again! Bring on the season! Go Yankees!!

Where Is Caitlin??

Anyone who knows my daughter knows she has a fascination with animal...especially stuffed ones. I went in to kiss her goodnight last night and this is what I found. Can you find Caitlin in the mess of animals?

Sunny Days and Knights!

A beautiful sunny day and my kids were playing "knights" They were donning their "helmets" and "jousting". It was so funny to listen to and to see. My son continues to find creative things to place on his head as a hat or helmet. Gotta love the imagination of kids! Caitlin is just as creative with her helmet! So here are my knights...enjoying a beautiful sunny day!

Spring has Sprung!

Last weekend was BEAUTIFUL!! The kids loved being able to play outside again. T-Ball is getting ready to start again, so Christopher was practicing. Caitlin had her barbie out and was playing with her in the "swimming pool". They are both very happy to be outside and enjoying short sleeves!

Where Have We Been?

So..we have been absent form blogging. We had a wonderful visit with Granny and Grandma. (Minus the cut head and fall down the stairs for Christopher) Mommy went to Florida for the weekend and all she brought home with her was Nana. The kids were thrilled to have Nana with us for a week. (Even if they were not thrilled for the reason!) Mommy had major surgery and Nana got to take care of her grandkids for a week. So now, here we are a week and a half post-op and daddy is taking care of mommy and the kids now. The kids are adjusting to mommy being a bump on a log although they don't really like it. And me, well, I am just taking everything one day at a time. So, if the posts are few and far between, bear with us. As mommy gets back in the swing of things, there will be more pictures and updates!

Butterflies and Smiles

So with Grandma visiting, the twins are full of smiles...and since Christopher managed to hurt himself, we got ahim a butterfly for his owie. We called Nana and asked her about butterfiles and she immediatly asked what happened to Christopher. I guess that goes to show that he really is such a boy! So here are pictures of our smiles...and Christopher's butterfly!

Waiting for Grandma

So, while waiting for Grandma to come on Friday, we had a little accident. Christopher wanted to look out the windo to see if Grandma was here yet. She wasn't, but he managed to slip and split his head open on the corner of the filing cabinet. Luckily, we did not need stitches this time. So, after calming Caitlin down and getting Christopher all cleaned up, we settled back in to wait for grandma! What a week!
