Mom And Dad Time!

Grandma and Granny came to visit us. Mom and dad took advantage of the time to get away and have some fun! We ran away to Busch Gardens for an afternoon and evening of roller coasters, rides and Halloween mazes! We had a wonderful time! Thanks to Granny and Grandma for our mini get away!!

Meanwhile At Home...a Sick Bug

While the boys were at the NFL game, mommy and Caitlin were supposed to go to a Halloween Birthday party! Caitlin was so excited about going! She talked about it all week...then Sunday she was not feeling very well. I knew she was a little off, but she kept insisting she was fine. So, I got her dresses and we headed out to the party. We were almost there when the poor little Bug threw up. So...after some clean-up, back home we went. She curled up on the couch and slept for most of the afternoon! Poor Little Bug!

NFL Game!

Jim and I won tickets to an NFL game in Charlotte. We talked about it and decided that the boys should go to the game. Jim had never been to a live game and Christopher had been asking to go to one. It was also great that one of the teams was The Panthers. Jim has been a fan of them for awhile.

The drive was LONG! But according to the boys,it was worth it! The got to spend time in the hospitality tent. They played in the kid zone. And Christopher got to meet Sir Purr and some of the cheerleaders.

The icing on the cake was that the Panthers won! Here are some pictures from the boys day of fun!!

Our Tiger Scout!

We did it! We joined the world of scouting. Christopher is officially a Tiger Cub. Saturday was a campout for the whole pack. Christopher was so excited! He had such a good time and he even caught a fish! (His first one EVER!) The boys did not stay the night, but got to enjoy the day at the campsite. Christopher is already looking forward to another campout soon!

End of T-Ball

The Fall T-Ball season ended on Saturday. The kids really enjoyed the season! They each received a trophy. We are very proud of them! Yay for another successful T-Ball season!

Look What We Got!!

Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream Re-visited

We wanted to make one more trip to Howl-O-Scream with the kids. My friend Stephanie and her girls came with us! We had a wonderful time! The kids all got their faces painted. What fun! And we rode several rides. We also saw Jack is Back, Monster Stomp and walked through a "friendly" Halloween Maze. (The lights were all on and no one jumped out at you!) The kids "braved" it, but were not to thrilled! We had a fun day though and it was a GREAT way to end our season at Busch Gardens! (Although I think mom and dad are going one more time!)

Pumpkin Patch Time!

October means pumpkins! Pumpkins mean a trip to the pumpkin patch. We always have a GREAT time when we go to the pumpkin patch. This year we went with our friends Traci, Makayla and Keegan. We tried out the corn maze for the first time this year. The kids all took turns picking the direction. It took us a it to get out, but they had fun! Then we picked out our pumpkins. The kids got their faces painted. We took a hay ride. They played on the playground, we ate lunch. And the weather, although a little warm today, was beautiful! Looking forward to painting those pumpkins soon! I LOVE Fall!
