Happy Easter!

We shared Easter morning with Stephanie and her children. They had spent the night with us the night before. The kids came downstairs to find Easter baskets left by the bunny. They were thrilled! Then a little after breakfast, they went into the backyard to see if the bunny had left them any eggs to find. All four of them had fun running around the yard finding the eggs!

After the kids went through the eggs to see what they got, Stephanie and the kids left. Jim and I took the twins to the movies to see "Hop". It was a very cute movie. Then we had Rita's. (Italian ice and frozen custard..yummy!)

We had a very nice family day for Easter! Hope yours was happy!

The Tooth Fairy Comes for Christopher!

Christopher FINALLY lost his first tooth! After months of having a tooth that was a little loose, it fell out! (Well, it was pushed out by the big tooth coming in behind it!) The tooth fairy stopped at our house again and left Christopher $2.00. (Man, inflation is tough! I remember being thrilled with $0.25!!) Yay Christopher!

Investiture Ceremony

Caitlin received her pins during an Investiture Ceremony at her Daisy meeting. Her pin was placed on her upside down. She had to do three helpful things or three good deeds in order to get the pin turned right side up. Congrats baby girl!

Disney Day 2

Say 2 at Disney found us back at the Magic Kingdom. We had missed several rides the day before. Once we were there, the kids decided they did not wan to leave. Caitlin discovered she loved Thunder Mountain. Christopher discovered he did NOT like Splash Mountain. The line for the Haunted Mansion was a hit! All kinds of "games" for the kids to play. The ride was not as big a hit. Christopher was not sure he liked it. They both enjoyed It's a Small World, which made me happy since it is one of my favorites! They all loved the Grand Prix Raceway. We stayed until about 9pm that night and then our Disney fun was over...we drove home! I think the kids really enjoyed themselves. I am looking forward to taking them back later this year to use our last two days!

We certainly let our memories begin!

Such a pretty spot!

Surprise! ~Warning Pic HEAVY~

We went to DISNEY WORLD! Nana and Papa took all four grandchildren (and their parents) to Disney World for two days. We had an amazing time! Daddy had not been to Disney World either. What a treat! It was so much fun to watch the twins explore Disney for the first time. Caitlin fell in LOVE with the carousel (is anyone surprised?) and Thunder Mountain (BIG surprise there!). Christopher LOVED Peter Pan and Buzz Lightyear (no real surprises there either). What was surprising was how much Jim enjoyed Disney. And how much fun it was for me to see Disney through new eyes.

A HUGE thank you to Nana and Papa for the trip! We made memories that will last a lifetime. And we shared them with people we love very much!

These are pictures from our first day at Disney!
