Aunt Ev's Surprise Party

The twins and I took a road trip this weekend with Nana in tow. My Aunt Ev was being surprised for her 60th birthday. So mom flew into to Norfolk on Saturday morning and the twins and I picked her up. We drove about 3 hours to Salisbury Maryland. We got to drive through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. ($12 each way...wow!) The twins loved it though. I was a little less thrilled. I am not pleased about facing oncoming traffic in the tunnel.

It was a little bit of a small family reunion there. My Uncle Bus, Uncle Dave, Uncle Paul, Aunt Kiersten, Logan, Luke, my cousin Rob, his son James, daughter Nadia and partner, Liz, my cousin Chuck, his son Aiden, daughter Ryan and wife Jessica and of course my Aunt Ev, my Uncle Art and his girlfriend Bonnie. It was so nice to see everyone. What a great surprise for my Aunt Ev! It was the first time she has met the twins.
