Williamsburg Field Trip

For Veteran's Day, the twins took a field trip to Williamsburg. They have been studying nursery rhymes in school and were using Williamsburg to "see" some of the nursery rhymes. They started off at the battery and got to hear the story of Sgt Dumpty also known as Humpty Dumpty to his friends. They heard how he fell off the wall. Then they got to take a "piece" of him with them. (A piece of shell that lines the ground at the battery) Then they went to see Mary's garden. (Mary, Mary quite contrary). They got to see Jack and Jill's well. They had a wonderful time and recited quite a few nursery rhymes. It was a great day, even with our mishap.
