Did They Really Just Say That??

So...I took the kids to dinner tonight. (Nothing fancy, we hit up Chick-Fil-A) After dinner I decided we should go get some ice cream. So we are driving down the road and Christopher after asking me if daddy would see lots of things in his submarine, (I had to shatter his dreams and tell him there are no windows in daddy's submarine) informed me that when he was grown up in the Navy and building submarines, he would put windows in them. Then after he did that, he was going to go be a race car driver. Caitlin then announced that she was going to have babies and stay at home. When I asked her why, she told me that she had to stay home so strangers would not steal her babies. (Think they have been pushing "stranger danger" at school?) Christopher then told me that when his wife was pregnant, he was going to go to ALL her doctor appointments with her. Caitlin declared that she was not going to the doctor when she was pregnant. But if she had to, her husband better go too. We then discussed how that was good if the husband went to the doctor with the wife...Caitlin's conclusion..if he didn't go, she was going to go get a new husband. Then they started asking if daddy and mommy had been married before and to who...giggling the whole time.

Oh joy...the conversations we have to look forward to now! And I just wanted to ask...are we there yet? Is it bedtime?
