We picked the kids up at Granny and Grandma's and then headed off to Ohio to see Grandfather and Grandma Brenda. While there, we took advantage of King's Island. It was only our second trip there. (Well, Jim has been there more times!) The kids were EXCITED! They had agrees to try some roller coasters. (Jim and I LOVE riding roller coasters..the twins were not thrilled) After a little misstep, (we waited in line, got on the ride and they both freaked out, so we got off) the twins were ready to go. Our first roller coaster? The Red Baron. They LOVED it. From there, we rode the Racers and the Backlot coaster. They liked them too. We even rode the new ride there, the Windseeker. It started out a little rocky, but ended up being a wonderful day! I was so proud of the kids for trying new rides. They really are growing up!
They also had a Dino Alive attraction. Christopher and Caitlin LOVE anything with dinosaurs. So we checked it out. It was very cool. The kids "hammed" it up and were "scared" by the dinosaurs!
Here's to new adventures ahead of us as the kids continue to grow and try new things!
