Christmas With The Family in Florida

We waited until after church to open gifts this year. So after Santa came, Jim and I took Caitlin to see "The Princess and the Frog" along with Aunt Mandy, Miguel and Manny. Christopher decided he did not want to see it and would rather go to church with Nana, Aunt Jenny and Uncle Jessie. So off we all went!

After church we began the festivities. My family has a few traditions that we follow when it comes to presents. First, we hand out cards. Some years ago, we all started giving each other Christmas cards and it just became a tradition. It is one I really enjoy and plan to keep doing no matter where we are for Christmas. After the cards are all handed out and read, we move onto the stockings. (Yes, everyone gets a stocking!) And we all go through everything in the stockings. Then one of us plays "Santa" to hand out gifts. Everyone gets a gift and then we all open them together. It makes it nice because we all get a chance to see what everyone is getting. Of course the kids are opening gifts long after the adults have run out of things to open, but we love watching the kids. Enjoy the pictures! Hope your Christmas was as blessed as ours was!

This is the ONLY picture of me from Christmas day...Jim did not do a good job with the camera! But at least I got some good pictures!
