The Ice Cream Truck

The last Saturday in May, I went to a Tidewatermommies yard sale. I was lucky and made a good amount of money as well as cleaning out a LARGE amount of stuff. We got rid of out last crib and our last stroller. (All the signs on babies are finally gone...such a bittersweet feeling!) When I got home, Caitlin "planned" our weekend for us! She decreed that we should go for dinner to "the orange place with eyes" otherwise known as Hooters. Christopher wanted to go to "the kangaroo place" otherwise known as Outback. Jim and I decided that we would go to Water Country on Sunday with the kids. Caitlin then decided that we should go to "the kangaroo place" Saturday and "the orange place with eyes" on Sunday after we went to Water Country.

So, off we went with my yard sale money. Dinner at Outback was very nice. When we got home, the ice cream truck was coming through the neighborhood. The kids know what the ice cream truck is, but they have never had ice cream from it. I decided to buy them their first ice cream from the truck. They were very excited! Caitlin chose a Tweety ice cream and Christopher picked Sonic. They sat outside enjoying their ice cream. It was great to watch them! My babies are truly growing so fast.

Sunday we took them to Water Country. They really enjoyed it and so did we. It was a beautiful day and it was not very crowded. We got to ride slides and have fun in Hubba Hubba Highway (kind of a fast lazy river). Then we went to "the orange place with eyes"

A perfect weekend!
