Overheard this morning...

Caitlin: I want lunch please daddy.

Daddy: It's not lunchtime.

Five minutes goes by..

Caitlin: I want lunch please daddy.

Daddy: It's not lunchtime.

Five more minutes pass..

Caitlin: I want lunch please daddy.

Daddy: Caitlin, you just ate breakfast..it's not lunchtime yet. Go watch TV, we'll have lunch later.

Five more minutes pass...

Caitlin: It is lunchtime yet?

Daddy: What do you want Caitlin?

Caitlin: A cheese stick.

Me: A cheese stick is not lunch.

Daddy: Sure Caitlin, have a cheese stick.

Me: That's not lunch.

Daddy: Yeah, but if she gets it, she will eat it and leave me alone.

Me: Yeah, for five minutes.

Caitlin: Nope...for SIX minutes daddy!
