Happy Birthday Jim!

The Birthday Boy Himself!


July 31st was Jim's 40th birthday. We had a great day! Jim's best friend CJ, his wife Karin and their daughter Kara came into town to stay with us.

It was great to see them again! It had been over a year! Kara has gotten so big! She will be two in October. The four of us went out to dinner on Jim's birthday. CJ and Jim had played golf earlier that day. All in all, I think it was a great day!

Then on Friday we had friends over to the house for a small party. CJ got Jim a "redneck" game. (Their description, not mine!) So the guys all played cornhole and drank beer. What a great time! We had food everywhere and some ice cream cake. It was a really nice party. I am so glad our friends came to share Jim's special day with us! I know it made the day for Jim. Especially CJ coming. So, CJ, thanks for making the trip. Thanks for making Jim smile and sharing his 40th birthday with us! You made the day for Jim!
