Happy Father's Day

We spent our Father's Day in Florida. It was a bittersweet day for our family. Father's day fell on June 20th this year. That was my Brother-in-law's birthday. So while we were celebrating my daddy being so much better, we also had heavy hearts that Eddie was not with us. I know my sister had a very hard time. We went and had family pictures done and even that was a little hard. I know my kids and I miss Eddie, I can't even imagine how much harder it is for Mandy and the boys. But we were all together and that made the day a little bit better. We also had a "hard" moment when we passed out Father's Day cards. Miguel and Manny had gotten cards for their Papi to put in their Angel bears. Christopher and Caitlin wanted to know why they had those cards. So we explained that Manny and Miguel have special bears to send messages to their Papi in heaven. It made us all a little teary eyed. He is still such a part of us all. We still miss him. And I know we always will.

So here are some of the pictures from Father's Day. And yes, I am very happy and thankful that my daddy is here and that we celebrated the day with him, but I missed Eddie...a lot!
