Stung!!!

My baby was STUNG! Caitlin followed her brother and cousins to the pond. (We were in the mountains of North Carolina for family reunion and it was only the FIRST day we were there!) The boys were looking at fish and tadpoles. Caitlin decided that was boring, so she went off on her own. She took a path over some rocks by some trees and discovered a nest of yellowjackets. Poor thing! She was stung SIX times! And I am very thankful it was only six times. Her Uncle Daniel RACED down the hill and snatched her and raced back up the hill. Her daddy and I heard her screaming from across the street as did her Nana from up the hill. The good news...Caitlin is not allergic to the stings...and if anyone ever tries to steal her...you will hear her scream from MILES away!!

Caitlin was very upset, and still HATES anything flying for now! My poor little bug!! But she was a little trooper and did very well! Thanks for following in mommy's footsteps baby...next time...skip the yellowjacket adventure though!
